I never take Simone in the sun (kind of obvious, isn't it), since she is too young for sunscreen and has been blessed (or maybe more appropriately, cursed) with the Smith skin. Today was her first time in the pool and the kids went crazy!
She is so FAT she just floats; it was hard to keep a hold of her slippery little body. Now I know why fat little seals are so agile in the water.
Simone loved the pool!
Yes, Savannah still wears a vest (the shame!) but at least she lets us take it off for short periods as she "swims" around a bit. One of the many disadvantages of being a working mom: no time for Swim lessons ...

Savannah thinks it's (very) funny that Austin can hold Simone in the pool. This is right after we dunked Simone under to see if it's true that babies can naturally go under water ...(and yes, it is :-).
