Simone updates

Simone never ceases to entertain us (or more appropriately put, keep us on our toes). She has discovered that the knobs on the doors/drawers have purpose and puts them to use on a regular basis now (much to the dismay of her fingers and mommy).

She stands unsupported for as long as she feels like it,and even takes a few steps (until she realizes what she's doing, and then sits down very gingerly). Hard to tell in the picture below, but she is actually walking after me.

Unfotunately, she has also learned how to remove the gate from the stairs.I came down one afternoon after a call, and found Savannah's clever little barricade.

Unfortunately,while voicing her displeasure the entire time, she quickly dismantled it.


While exploring the house, she rediscovered her swing in the donation pile. She likes to hang out in it (literally).
