Second Grade Stud

It's so fun to be Austin's mom. I love when the teachers pull me aside and say how great he is. (Yah, I think so too). He's having a great time in Second grade. He excels in reading & math. He has already passed off 7 of his times table lists (the only student in his class to do so, thus far). He has the highest reading level in his class (no surprise there) and gets to help "tutor" struggling students in his class. He is always thoughtful of the smaller kids on the playground and sticks up for them when bigger kids pick on them or take away their balls.

He even helps with his sisters at home. His new project is helping me teach Savannah to read. He keeps us laughing with his silly sense of humor and dancing moves. If I only get one boy, I'm glad it's Austin!
