Mother's Day

The kids showing off everything they made me. Savannah painted a little box at school, that was filled with flower seeds. She & Scott planted those outside by the pool and then Savannah promptly made me many pictures and stuffed them inside the box.

Here are detailed pictures of what Austin made. Mrs. Smith had the kids make a little paperbag scrapbook. It was so cute! Austin was super proud of his "first scrapbook, ever." He made everything all by himself!

On the other side of the large pink envelope, Austin wrote "10 reasons why I love my mom." I admit I got all teary-eyed when I read them. Some of them were: "You drop everything and come look me for me when I am lost in a really big store; You work really hard so we can have fun together as a family; You take care of me immediately when I am sick... and his final reason was : I know you love me with all your heart!"

You open the first page and it has little flowers that you can pull out of the flower pot, that spelled out Love U and a little blue fold out note, that had a handprint and the date inside.

The 3rd page had a little letter inside and 2 coupons inside the envelope. Austin made his coupons for "30% off 4 movie nights" with just him and a "free book of love."

These are some of Savannah's pictures and notes. You open up the one card and she drew a picture of me & her making things on the Cricut machine. I love the one she made for me at school! Her answers to some of the questions cracked me up:
My mom is prettiest when : (when crossed out and "right now" written in. LOL! At least she didn't put the answer of "back when she got married" that she said one of her other little friends put...Whew!)
My Mom always says: Don't hit Austin! ( I wouldn't say it so much, if she'd listen to me :-)

Love my kids! (Simone is not pictured because she is indulging in her own gift to me ...a LONG nap)!

I love the homemade gifts! On Eli's paper from preschool he said...My mom always says, "Go sit in time out" I just about died when I read that. All I could think of was the good laugh Christina and Helle got doing all of those papers!
