Austin

I'm going through Austin's backpack, looking through all his work and tests, and come across a test on "Brothers & Sisters." I think it was a story they read and the vocab/spelling words are teenager, twins, newborn, pest, distract, etc.

There are questions that Austin must answer from the story and they all seem to be about older siblings' responses to babies. One of the questions is "Ben said, 'Babies can't do anything for themselves.' How do you think Ben is feeling? Why?" Austin's answer: Ben is feeling helpful because he can help his baby brother with things."

His teacher's response: She circles the statement Ben made and writes "Austin you have a very positive outlook on life! :-) "

The teacher calls me and gives me more details this morning: Turns out all the other kids wrote about Ben being annoyed or angry, but not my sweet boy, lol! It's so nice to hear that others love Austin as much as we do ;-)

We are so lucky to have Austin in our family! He truly loves his sisters and is such a helper.
